Monthly Animal Sponsorship

​​Many of the animals at A Home for Hooves come from situations of neglect, abuse, and cruelty or they are surrendered due to diverse need requirements.  As a sponsor, your monthly donation helps us provide a high standard of care for all the animals at the sanctuary.

Monthly giving is simply the best way to make a difference in the lives of the animals at ​A Home for Hooves.

Your automated monthly sponsorship will be processed through Canada Helps, which will also provide tax receipts for all eligible donations.

When you join our monthly giving family, you will receive:

• A digital sponsorship photo which showcases your chosen animal(s) with a hard copy available upon request
• Our annual calendar *
• Updates on how your gifts are making a difference
• The opportunity to tour the sanctuary and meet your sponsored animal (twice a year excluding events)
• The happiness that comes from knowing you are saving lives!​​

• Cow or Steer – $100/Month
• Mini Horse or Donkey – $50/Month
• Large Pig – $45/Month​
• Goat or Sheep – $35/Month
• Small Pig – $30/Month
• Bird Flock – $15/Month
• Dog, Cat, Rabbit, Guinea Pig – $15/Month

Does My Sponsor Animal Have More Than One Sponsor?

Many of the animals at A Home for Hooves come from situations of neglect, abuse, and cruelty, or they are surrendered due to diverse need requirements.  The cost of care for each animal is frequently beyond the reach of many of our individual donors as the expense of feed, bedding, medical care, supplements, and medications can be significant.  As a sponsor, your monthly donation helps us provide a high standard of care that is given to all the animals at A Home for Hooves.  Your donation also goes into a general fund that allows us to build infrastructure at the sanctuary, run our foster program, provide an enrichment program, and enables us to advocate for animal welfare.  Essentially, we're able to commit to caring for more animals when we have more sponsors.

What Happens if My Sponsor Animal Passes Away? 

We understand that it can be difficult to receive news of an animal's passing. We will make every effort to let you know as soon as we as we can. In such cases, we will provide you with the option to transfer your sponsorship to a different animal or to end it if you prefer. As a committed supporter, we want to ensure that your support continues to make a meaningful difference.
