Tours are available every Monday, and every second Saturday and Sunday.
Details
The tours will include discussion about Canada's current industrialised farming practices, storytelling about the Sanctuary animals' history, and interaction with the animals who are comfortable with people. Many of the animals at the Sanctuary are here because they were unwanted, neglected, abused, or seized by the SPCA. Due to these circumstances we must ensure their boundaries are respected at all times so everyone on the tour must follow clear instructions at all times.
Please ensure you do not have any food on your person and any water you bring must be in a stainless steal or plastic container. Children are welcome but they must be well behaved and listen to instructions. No running, chasing, or yelling is permitted as it scares the animals. Young children will not be able to go into the pens for their and the animal's safety.
