Angela

Angela came into our care after her previous home had outgrown the responsibility of pet care. Angela is a sweet and affectionate girl who thrives on social interaction and has a particular fondness for carrots.

Bastian

Bastian arrived in late February 2025 after repeated attacks left him injured and underweight. Though born wild, he’s very affectionate and has adapted well to indoor life. After delaying his neuter due to health concerns, he’s now thriving and full of energy, keeping us on our toes!

Bobbi

Bobbi came into our care after her owner took her to be euthanized due to financial struggles.  Bobbi has hepatitis and IBS, but with medication and appropriate food, she is thriving.  Bobbi is SUPER snuggly and loves to have her belly rubbed!

Cedar

Cedar and his brother, Clover, came into our care in July 2024 after their owner was unable to afford the cost of their care. Cedar, who is the cautious one, is the gentle leader of the pair. He was named Cedar because the orange on his face resembled cedar bark.
He and his brother are very vocal and wheek any time a human friend walks by, especially if they know carrots and apple-banana cookies are in said human's hands!

Clover

Clover and his brother, Cedar, came into our care in July 2024 after their owner was unable to afford the cost of their care. Clover is full of energy, confident, and has a lot of personality. He was named Clover because his face is white like a clover flower.

Hannah

Hannah joined the sanctuary in June of 2025 after she was found abandoned along the highway in Nanaimo. Estimated to be around 3 months old, she visited the vet, where it was confirmed that she is both emaciated and dehydrated. It’s heartbreakingly clear she struggled to survive on her own.
Now safe at the sanctuary, this brave little bunny is receiving the gentle care, nourishment, and comfort she needs. We’re hopeful she’ll begin to heal and thrive surrounded by love. Welcome home, Hannah — your journey to a brighter future begins now. 🐰

Lennon

Lennon came into our care in September 2024 through partnership with Amy's Bunny Barn. Lennon is the devoted companion of Weston, and the two are truly inseparable. While Lennon has a laid-back and reserved personality, he’s been known to get a little wild under Weston’s playful influence, often turning household items into a flurry of tiny bits!

Lucky

Lucky came to us from Texas after being rescued from a shelter where dogs have 7 days to find a new home before they are euthanized.  Lucky is always full of energy and takes his job of being the lookout very seriously.  He thoroughly enjoys being high up so he can keep an eye on the sanctuary as well as the areas around the property.

Rocky

Rocky came to us from Texas with his brother, Lucky, after being rescued from a high kill shelter.  Rocky is very laid back and thoroughly enjoys a good snuggle, but don't let that fool you because he's the alpha in the dog world.

Sunny

Sunny joined us in February 2025, coming from Amy's Bunny Barn Society where she waited over a year for her forever family. She's a night owl with a playful spirit, often seen enjoying energetic zoomies! As bunnies are social animals, we're actively seeking a wonderful companion to share her life with.

Weston

Weston joined the Home for Hooves family in January 2024 after she was found scarfing down the chickens’ food. We have no idea how she got here, given the amount of snow on the ground, but she was clearly “dumped” because she’s quite friendly and affectionate. Weston is now thriving in her best life, enjoying every moment alongside her devoted companion, Lennon.
