Rusty

Rusty was abandoned in Skutz falls along with other roosters and older laying hens.  One of our volunteers saw them dumped on a trail but was only able to catch another rooster and one of the hens.  He rushed Rusty to the Sanctuary as he had several lacerations and puncture wounds sustained from a predator attack.  Unfortunately, when our volunteer got back to try and catch the other chickens they had been killed by a predator.

Rusty is very much a ladies' man who loves telling the hens he's found a tasty treat by doing his signature cluck to notify them of the find.
